3.5 Edition is almost the same there are just few abilities on the character sheet that were changed and I usually play with the 3.5 Books. Well I don't play much because I have no one to play with. Anyway, funny comic yoski!
It's hard sometimes to enroll people to play to it. If they don't care about fantasy then they won't care about to play an RPG such as D&D. But I've started a new 3.5 campain with my brother and two others players. I'm a human warrior, there is an elf mage and a monk. We've got no healers My bro is the DM and he's basing his campain on Spice and the Wolf 2 with the money. E.G. If more people bought something the prizes are increasing and if no one bought something it costs lower. Something like that abd I don't really understand the campain is about.
Ha... me neither. You know, you should try OpenRPG to play online or a forum. I play in the RPG section from Narutofan's forums. There are two D&D ongoing campaings... I started on one but moved to the second because it became too darker for my taste.
The rules is one thing, and I might even be able to live with the new concepts (except the supression of four out of nine alignments) but 4th has changed FR so much that it's barely recognizable, it is madness!!!
I know what you mean but the reason I switched from 2nd to 3rd was the fountain of changes and fixes needing to be made and the open of OPTIONS to the characters and games where you got to fine tune them. I didn't switch because it was knew but because I wanted out of 2nd. For 3rd ... I like it. I think its fun and open. Don't really have a whole lot to complain about except sundering magical weapons >_>
But like you said, if all they're doing is making changes to sell more books, thats not something I wanna be involved in. There are still a fountain of 3.5 edition books i haven't got to use yet and will be with this edition for a long time me thinks.
